The general keynote sessions are always one of the highlights of OpenText™ Enterprise World, and our 2017 conference was no exception. Last year, Muhi Majzoub, EVP Engineering and IT at OpenText took to the main stage on day two to review what OpenText had delivered in the previous 12 months, showcase some incredible demos, and share the products we had lined-up for customers in the coming year.
Two of our top product announcements at Enterprise World 2017 included the availability of OpenText™ Magellan™, our new artificial intelligence (AI) platform, and announcements around OpenText™ AppWorks , our low-code development platform.
Magellan: a flexible AI and analytics platform
In case you need a reminder, Magellan is a flexible AI and analytics platform that combines open source machine learning with advanced analytics, and the capabilities to acquire, merge, manage and analyze Big Data and Big Content.
Magellan was showcased in an exciting demo at Enterprise World 2017. Take a look at what Muhi had to say about Magellan in this video:
AppWorks delivers new low code application development
The announcements at Enterprise World 2017 surrounding AppWorks focused on its evolution into a low-code application development environment. Using the example of OpenText People Center™, Muhi showcased how AppWorks allows users to build complex applications with embedded workflows without writing a single line of code. One of the key benefits of using AppWorks is that it enables developers to quickly and easily design, build and deploy applications.
Muhi sat down with our reporter at Enterprise World 2017 to discuss AppWorks, People Center, and the Cloud. Take a look at this video to hear more:
Enterprise World 2018: The Intelligent and Connected Enterprise
During his keynote presentation at Enterprise World 2018, Muhi Majzoub will once again show some mind-blowing demos on the main stage. While we don’t want to give away too much just yet, it’s safe to say that Muhi’s presentation will detail how organizations from healthcare to legal can realize their potential as intelligent and connected enterprises using tomorrow’s solutions from OpenText. It’s going to be a keynote you don’t want to miss!
